Bag packed,Alarm set and here I was all geared up for the next days i.e.20th February IndiBlogger Meet at Mango Mist Resort .The Alarm didn't rang or did it,well that's a big mystery that needs to be solved soon and I woke up at 6.30am with the IndiBus leaving for the Destination in 45 mins. All the excitement that was building up for almost a week seemed to be fading slowly.Soon I remembered Madhumita Baa(fellow Blogger) who was also going to the meet will be driving to the venue and I called her to check if she could pick me up on her way.But she too was on her way to catch the bus and asked me to leave immediately as she will asked them to wait for me.She was savior as I managed to get an Auto and reached the bus stop at around 7.35 am.

The bus was waiting for me and I checked into the bus with the pass the Indi Team send everyone of us two days back.In the bus I met Madhumita Baa and appreciated her for the help, she introduced me to the Web Guy( Rajiv da) and Salma(fellow bloggers,it was a blogger meet indeed). We were given a packet of Good day Biscuit and a bottle of mineral water and with this,we were way.

The IndiPlace

We reached MangoMist at round 9.25 am and I was happy to meet few friends from the last Indi Meets @ Hard Rock Cafe and Big Pitcher. We exchanged greetings and had few light moments, after that we all assembled at a place as the Indi Team welcomed us with arms wide open.We were given few instructions and most importantly showed the way to the thing that matter the most that time to me THE BREAKFAST(Yes,I was hungry :P),we were again asked to assemble at the same spot at around 10.00am after the breakfast. The Breakfast was good and I(almost everyone) enjoyed it to the fullest. We headed back to the same assembly area where the Indi team followed up with the schedule for the entire day, later we were addressed by a beautiful lady and a guy from Flipkart,so now one knows why it was called #Flipkartoutdoors IndiMeet. After the talk we were divided into a team of 10,though we had 11 in our team with the Web Guy leading from the front. We were handed over a sheet that included a list of activities, contests and prizes associated with them.We were also given coupons so that we can go out and try our hands with all the adventure sports around.

The Stuff
They were stalls around with likes of Samsung,Sony,Altec,Garmin,Red Chief displaying all the latest trend in technology and how it tends to change the face of traveling and importantly the human life.Turn by turn we visited every single one of them and were amazed by the offerings they had to mention few Samsung Smart Watches and the Polaroid Cube. After that we tried our hand in tent building and I was the official time keeper of the group, the time to beat was 1.56 mins and mark my words we came very close of winning it as we clocked 3.03 mins :D. After that we headed out to try our hands with the adventure sports around. At around 2 pm we all assembled for the lunch and after lunch that w all e headed for the most sought activity THE PAINTBALL.We were again divided into team of 8,I and Rajiv Da were added in different team and surprisingly we were against our previous team. The Battle of the Paint Ball began and It was one hell of an experience and shockingly our match ended up in the only draw (once a team, always a team).

I wanted to try my hands on land zorbing very badly and enters Reyyan who almost shared the same enthu. We managed the survive the fall and was still in its hang over when I got a call from Madhumita Baa(My Savoir) informing that the bus was leaving.I collected my stuff and ran fast for the bus (nobody clocked my timing,as I could have given Mr.Bolt a stiff competition). We left Mango Mist at around 5 pm only to reach home at 8pm(all thanks to Bangalore traffic).

I would summaries saying that it was one hell of an experience with the Best people, made some good friends and memories to cherish for a very ling time indeed.

On 2nd October 2014,Our Honorable PM Shri Narendra Modi launched the “Swacch Bharat” Campaign in his quest for a Cleaner India. The initiative is a success in some aspect but has still a lot to achieve if we want to be on the track to a Clean India by 2019.From Sanitation, over flowing drains to Garbage dumping everything needs to be taken into measures to the path leading to 2019.But here we will look into the issue of  Garbage dumping from the perspective of Bangalore City and  in the idea of Waste Segregation.

Bangalore,City of Gardens,Oh...wait a second isn't it  City of Garbage, now??? With pile of waste littering all over the city,Bangalore has definitely lost its charm over it.Its not like that the heap of garbage came overnight and suddenly spread its fang all over the city.It has always been a long term process that only came to focus only after people from different location started protesting over the large land used as a dumping site for all the garbage and now with non availability of dumping ground,it lives on the streets of Bangalore like an orphan.Though there has been protest time to time it was never able to pick momentum until now with amount of increase in garbage reaching new high and with the attention and pressure from international media and business honchos. As per records Bangalore on a daily basis produces an average of 6500 tonnes of waste which is indeed a very high number. The BBMP(Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike),the civic administrative body of Bangalore at present have seven waste processing units in the city(with 3 in total functioning) and with a capability to process 2500 tonnes(total) of wet waste per day,but not all even the limit of the garbage is being sent there.Did we miss something?Yes indeed a very simple trick,Bangalore produces 4500 tonnes of waste including dry and wet every day,but BBMP can process only wet waste. This brings us to a very interesting situation, what can be done to tackle the problem. And only here our hero of the blog WASTE SEGREGATION comes into picture.

Waste segregation means dividing waste into dry and wet. Dry waste includes wood and related products, metals and glass. Wet waste, typically refers to organic waste usually generated by eating establishments and are heavy in weight due to dampness. It is the process of dividing garbage and waste products in an effort to reduce, reuse and recycle materials.Once dry and wet waste are mixed it becomes hard to separate them even for the pourakarmikas (or safai karamcharis) and thus equally impossible to get them processed.Whereas the dry waste remains remain intractable, wet waste can be very useful resource. Companies such as Terra Firma and Maltose are proposing to collect wet and green waste and to turn it into manure.Even BBMP so far commissioned two bio-methanisation plants that can turn five tonnes of garbage into methane a day.

Dealing with Bangalore’s garbage has been a Herculean task and with the Government's "Kasa-muktha Bengaluru” initiative that it started 3 years back seems like a distant dream.Though the Government is trying its hand in taking control of the situation by imposing ban on Plastic bag and the BBMP collaborating with different agencies (both print & electronic media) in making people aware of Waste Segregation and its benefits. But the pace of things is pathetically slow and atrocious oversight of the problem in the past is showing itself up in ubiquitous garbage dumped at every conceivable empty site. In the eyes of the experts, the malady lies not in deficient approach but in management.

Forget AK-47,lets take up Waste Segregation in our tight against garbage and help to bring back the past glory of the garden City, our very own 'NAMMA BENGALURU'.

Late last year it started creating a big buzz around l before it was officially announced as many reported that it will be theirs last album together. One month after their single “Adventure of a Lifetime” from the latest album “A Head Full of Dreams” was released Coldplay finally released their 7th studio album on 4th December 2015.After not no successful last album “Ghost Stories”there was lot of expectation from the band and band don't disappoints to an extent.Yes,I know I am late by some days for posting my reviews and it was only yesterday I got hold of the album, all thanks to my buddy Raj(dude!!! You are popular now ). Better late than never, here it goes...

With the single 'Adventure of a lifetime ' already released, here is the entire track-list from the album
'A Head Full Of Dreams'
  • Amazing Day
  • Adventure Of A Lifetime
  • Birds
  • Hymn For The Weekend
  • Everglow
  • Fun
  • Kaleidoscope
  • Army Of One
  • Colour Spectrum
  • Up&Up
  • Head Full of Dreams
Its Coldplay and in just two minutes and 20 seconds into the opening, title track, the anthemic “oh-woah”, is there.Everglow,a piano ballad, surprisingly featuring Gwyneth Paltrow on backing vocals is quite good and worth listening.Fun(featuring Tove lo) is like Martins remembering good old times with Paltrow and is just another track. With Army of One,Martins gives little taste of R&B and its good.Kaleidoscope has an interlude featuring a Rumi poem followed up by a snippet of President Obama singing Amazing Grace (give it a listen for MR.PRESIDENT).Some good lyrics, flute loop, piano the lead single Adventure of a lifetime is funky.Featuring the diva Beyonce herself, the track really makes one hymn for the weekend.Birds sounded to ordinary, and then there is a short Colour Spectrum.Amazing Day is great and saving the best for the last featuring Noel Gallagher Up & Up, is a singalong that’s very hard to resist.
With the likes of 'Yellow','The Scientist' behind them I wont say this is Coldplay at its very best but definitely they sound really good and after 'Ghost Stories' is a very good comeback.
Though the album received mixed response from the critics around the world,I loved it and its worth listening for all music fan not only Coldplay loyal like me and on a scale of 10,I would rate it 7.5.
A poignant touch but by going by the rumors that it can be their last album, its hardly a stuff of dreams and all Coldplay fans wants a grand Good-bye id there is one(Who wants it,anyway???)

Must Listen: Up&Up,Amazing Day,Everglow

The whole review is of my own and may differ from people to people.
