We Are Infinite.

Give me a minute
To hear out the stars
Lamenting in their stories
Their labored twinkling far and sparse.

Give me this moment
To stumble and swoon
Continual reaching for
The faraway moon.

Give me a while
To be one with the universe
Hear the colliding planets
As they spill their mournful verse.

Give me some time
To plot my rightful place
Within my uncharted galaxy
And collapsing space...

Will this feeling ever go away?
I wish I could separate black from white
But all I see is different shades of grey.
Digging deep down inside,
I feel a sense of emptiness undefined.
All senses are dulled, desires awaken
The pain grows stronger, inhibitions are taken.
Less seeing, less hearing, more hunger, more longing
Answers are ebbing while questions are surging.
Will this feeling ever go away?
